According to the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC) is a planned procedure during which the patient undergoes local anesthesia together with sedation and analgesia.

Sedative dentistry is an effective and safe way for people to have access to all types of dental procedures who would otherwise not be able to have the dentistry they need.
